Frontier Resources International, Inc. was established in 1988 by ex - Gulf Oi l employees Dr. J.E. Warren , R.D. King and M.J.Keyes as a privately held exploration and production company with headquarters in Houston, Texas. In addition to its exploration activities, the Company also provides consulting services to oil and gas companies, government entities, and financial institutions.

In 2008, the Company was registered as a U.K. listed public company specifically for the purpose of acquiring and developing hydrocarbon deposits in the Middle East and Africa.  In 2013, Frontier's shares were admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange.

Frontier has also been the founder and major shareholder of Navarino Gas Ltd, First African Oil Corporation, Frontier Marine Inc., Gondwana Petroleum Namibia (Pty) Ltd,  Quantum Hydrogen Inc., Hybrid Hydrogen Inc,  and a co-founder of Circle Oil Plc.

The management team at Frontier has extensive experience in the evaluation, financing, and development of conventional hydrocarbon deposits and the exploration for natural hydrogen both in the U.S.A. and internationally. The Company's organizational strategy is based on maintaining a flexible team of seasoned professionals skilled in the development of tight and fractured reservoirs utilizing modern horizontal drilling and completion techniques.
